Congratulations to GloCoBank team member, Thibaud Giddey on the publication of a co-authored book with Eiji Hotori and Mikael Wendschlag, 'Formalization of Banking Supervision, 19th-20th Centuries'. 

The book explores how banking supervision was formalized in distinct national structures and identifies several drivers of the formalization process. It covers eight developed countries: the US, Japan, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France and the UK. The book is available in open access on Palgrave's website: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-981-16-6783-1, thanks to the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
